RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • Observance of the following is compulsory for all students and deviations will lead to disciplinary action:
  • Students must wear their Identity cards during school hours.
  • Students who come to school by their own conveyance should reach school five minutes before the bell rings.
  • The school uniform worn by the students should be immaculate, clean and should be worn on all working days.
  • Boys should have neatly trimmed hair and girls should either have short hair /hair tied in plaits.
  • Special care must be taken of all the school property.
  • Students are expected to carry books and notebooks in strict accordance with the time table and refrain from bringing unnecessary material to school.
  • Students are prohibited from bringing any storage devices like floppies, pen drives, i-pods, i-pads or Tablets, not relevant to academic pursuits.
  • Bringing mobile phones, cameras, expensive pens, pencils, fancy pencil-box etc to school is not permitted.
  • In the interest of their own security, students are advised not to buy or receive any articles, gifts or foodstuffs from anyone at all en route.
  • Exploding crackers on any occasion or splashing colours during Holi in the school premises or in the school bus is strictly forbidden.
  • The school is committed for protecting the environment and expects its students to be environment friendly in all their actions. The use of polybags (plastic bags) is prohibited in the school therefore students should consciously avoid the use of plastic for any purpose.
  • Students must move in an orderly manner while they are moving from one place to another in the school premises.
  • Students are allowed to use the school canteen during the break time only.
  • Students should observe polite standards wherever they go .They should remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should greet their teachers when they meet them. Bullying and using foul language or local language is prohibited and punishable as per the school rules.
  • Card policy-school give three warning cards (three chances) to the students for any mistake. After three warning if still student will be found Indulge in such activities then suspension card will be issued to the student.

ABSENCE FROM SCHOOL

  • A student is required to inform the school authorities in case he/she is absent for more than 2 days.
  • When the child reports to school after absenteeism, he /she is required to submit a leave application , an email or an almanac note stating the reason of absence.
  • In case of absence for more than two days on medical grounds, Medical Certificate and Prescription (photocopies) should be attached along with application.
  • There is no provision for half-day leave, therefore students who are not well should not be sent to school even on the days of assessments. The child will be marked absent if he/she were to be taken home by parents/guardians/ authorised persons during schools hours, even if it were to be an assessment day.
  • A student, returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease, should produce a doctor’s fitness certificate permitting her/ him to attend school. Students suffering from the following diseases must observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to school. However, the exact period of quarantine will depend upon the severity of the infection which should be confirmed by a certified medical practitioner.
Chicken Pox Till the scabs fall completely Not more than 15 days
Cholera Till the child has completely recovered Not more than 15 Days
Measles Two weeks after the rash disappears Not more than 15 Days
Whooping Cough Till the doctor certifies Not more than 20 Days
Hepatitis Till the doctor certifies Not more than 20 Days
Mumps Until the swelling has gone about one month Not more than 15 Days
Swine Flu Till the doctor certifies Not more than 15 Days
  • Change of class rooms between periods should be done in silence and in an orderly manner.
  • Wearing low waist trousers and skirts is not allowed.
  • Children will not be handed to parent without parental I-Card
  • Students from Classes I to VII are not allowed to wear watches to school. However, students from Class VIll onwards can wear simple watches. Multifunctional and flashy watches are to be strictly avoided.

SCHOOL LIBRARY

  • Books will be issued to students of Classes Ill to XII.
  • Each student of Classes Ill to XII will be issued two books at a time for a period of one week.
  • No book will be further issued unless pending items are returned.
  • Strict silence must be maintained in the library.
  • Reference books are not issued. These books can be consulted within the library premises only.
  • Books marked, disfigured or damaged a book will have to be replaced by the borrower or a payment should be done.
  • 50% in excess of the cost price of the book is to be made.
  • Any student found damaging or defacing a book will be debarred from the library for the whole academic year.
  • The library has an Open Access System, and the students must help to maintain the order and organization of the collection in different shelves. They must place the books in the shelves strictly according to the subjects, after consultation.
  • Students are not allowed to bring their personal books or belongings to the library.
  • We strongly advise parents to encourage their children to read books.
